Marilu's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to expand and improve her sewing workshop installing sewing machines, work tools and raw material.

Marilu's story

Marilú is a native of the town of Monteagudo. She is from a humble family and for economic reasons had to work in different fields and could not complete her studies.

Having the desire to have a trade she studied at the alternative learning center "Jorge Vargas Menduiña". She specialized in textile sewing as an assistant technician. She liked the business enough so she learned working in a variety of textile sewing workshops and also went abroad (Argentina) to work and learn more.

She needs the loan to be able to expand and improve her small sewing workshop adding sewing machines, work tools and raw material to start her own shop as an independent. In this way she will be doing work she likes. Then she'll be able to get ahead and provide her children with better opportunities, have a better quality of living and improve her house as it has some damage.
