Martha Alicia's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy a large industrial griddle and tables, as well as invest in improvements to her place of business.

Martha Alicia's story

Martha is 32 years old and studied through the seventh grade. She is in a relationship and her partner works in agriculture. They have two children.

Martha has been operating a business of preparing and selling “pupusas” (stuffed tortillas) and other street food from her home for the past year. She prepares the “pupusas” and her partner helps with attending to the customers. Martha conducts her sales from 3:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. She previously focused her time on the household duties.

Martha will use this loan to buy tables and a larger industrial griddle for making “pupusas”. She will also invest in improvements to the place where she works. Her dream is to help her children with their studies so that they can earn a university degree.
