Yankadi Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy young rams to resell in anticipation of paying school fees.

Yankadi Group's story

Djeneba Amadou is the woman in the middle of the group in the photo holding the ram. She is 32 years old and lives in a rural area of Mali with her husband and their six children (three boys and three girls). One girl goes to school. Her husband earns a living in agriculture.

She is a housewife and illiterate. For 12 years she has been raising sheep to support her husband with the family expenses. She buys small rams in the neighboring market, feeds them for a few months and resells them at the same market.

Djeneba Amadou is a long-time client of RMCR who has made her repayments well. She is now requesting another loan after paying back her previous loans, to buy a few young rams, oil cakes and salt in order to raise them and resell them with an estimated profit of 50,000 XOF. It will help pay for school supplies, health care and clothing for the children.

She hopes to ensure a bright future for her children through the fruits of her business.
