Kibyasi Tukurakurane Group's story

Florence is 37 years old, a widow who is currently taking care of her three school-going children. She is a member of Kibyasi Tukurakurane Group.

Florence lives in Bubango village in the Kibaale district. She mainly deals in agriculture as her main source of income to the family, such as growing maize, beans, and cassava, which she sells to the market and earns income to pay school fees for her children as well as to meet her family's financial obligations.

Due to the limited capital, Florence has applied for a loan to buy new stocks of cassava flour, corn, and beans, to boost her business in anticipation of high profits in the future.

She intends to start up a retail shop in future, as an additional income source to sustain her young, growing family. She is a hard-working and very honest woman.

Thank you, funders, for supporting small entrepreneurs like Florence.
