Naheed's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase more reels of threads along with packs of buttons, needles, laces and zippers for tailoring business.

Naheed's story

Naheed is a entrepreneur woman and a mother of four children. She admitted this fact, that if her husband works alone for their family, then he would not be able to meet the household expenses with the educational needs of their children.

This is the reason she started tailoring at home to support her family. Along with her husband, both are managing their household while operating a business. She started the tailoring business a few years ago to support her family.

Due to upcoming Eid Ul Azha; she has a lot of burden of work. To cope with the demand she has a need of reels, threads, packs of buttons, needles, laces, zippers, etc.
Therefore, she requested a loan from Kiva’s field partner BRAC Pakistan to purchase more reels of threads along with packs of buttons, needles, laces and zippers. In this way, she will be able to stitch up more dresses. Her regular customers are her neighbors, friends and the local community.

Naheed hopes to grow her business and dreams of giving a good quality education to her children through all her hard work in her business.

Naheed is very thankful to the Kiva and field partner, BRAC Pakistan.
