José Bruno's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped Jose to buy coal and iron to make knives.

José Bruno's story

José has five children, two of whom live on their own. The other three live at home but are no longer in school. He is in a common-law marriage and his wife is a homemaker.

José works as a blacksmith, making knives and machetes. He has been in business for 21 years and learned the trade from a friend. He also works growing basic grains. His work schedule is from 3:00 am to 11:00 am.

His previous Kiva loan allowed him to keep working and his debt is almost repaid in full. He will use this new loan to buy coal and iron for his smithy.

His goals are to keep working hard and improve his housing.
