Catherine's story

Catherine is 39 years old and a mother who lives in a mud house with her family. She considers herself lucky to have a handsome husband and five angelic-looking children, and has always striven to give them a decent life and a good education.

For the last seven years, Catherine has earned a living by farming and selling the produce she raises, as well as milk, sheep, and eggs. She enjoys plowing her farm and watering her plants. Crop diseases pose a big challenge for her as well as poor productivity.

Catherine is seeking a loan to buy good quality seeds and fertilizer, which will help the increase soil fertility and productivity of her farm. This will allow her to improve her quality of life and living standards. Through training from Juhudi Kilimo, she has learned about the culture of saving, and she plans to use the increased income to improve her farming.

This loan will go a long way in changing the lives of Catherine and her family. She dreams of buying a house where her family can have an better quality of life.
