Charity's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy high-quality seeds, good fertilizer, and pesticides.

Charity's story

"The biggest limitation towards a smallholder farmer's success is limited access to credit facilities from any trusted institution,” says Charity, a smallholder farmer of both crops and livestock. For the past seven years, she has been actively involved and making great profits in farming.

Because of how much she likes farming, she has even nicknamed her cows, which makes her a very proud farmer, especially when she is milking them. Through her dairy cows, she is able to get between 10 and 15 liters of milk a day, and this helps her support her family.

Charity also practices tea farming, but she has not been making good profits. This is why she is kindly seeking a loan to buy farm inputs. With the loan, she will be able to buy high-quality seeds, good fertilizer and pesticides that she will use to improve her crop production greatly. Using high-quality seeds will assure her of a bumper harvest, and hence, increased profit levels.

Charity is a visionary, and her goal for the season is to boost her crop production and be able to get more crop output than the previous year. All her goals can be achieved through lenders’ help and goodwill. Charity believes that through the loan she will turn around her family life and be able to give her children a solid educational background.
