Great Heights Group's story

In order to climb to the top of the ladder of success, you may have to start from the bottom. For Thiodollar, her story is one that has motivated many people in business to understand the above saying that success does not occur over night.

Thiodollar is a 42-year-old mother of three. She is a cross-border trader; her husband is self-employed and sells car parts in Harare.

Thiodollar is in the Great Heights group, which has successfully received its fifth loan with Thrive. The group is based in Dzivarasekwa Extension in Harare. When Thiodollar started her business selling clothes, she sold on the road side. With the profits, she managed to purchase a car and started selling from her car trunk. She advertised her products to many people working in different companies, and, due to the quality of products she sold, her clientele base has increased.

Thiodollar then started restocking different types of clothing from Tanzania, Botswana and South Africa to sell to different boutiques in town. Her business has expanded and now she owns her own clothing shop in the Central Business District, where she sells a variety of clothing, from designer suits, clothes, and shoes. She specializes in providing quality to her clients. Thiodollars has been given a loan to purchase more clothing for her shop.
