Evangeline's story

Evangeline is a sari-sari (variety) store owner in the town of Concepcion, Iloilo. She is a married woman with six children; five are dependents and one is an adult. Evangeline has been running this sari-sari store business for many years. Meanwhile, her husband is a fisherman. She and her husband work hard together to earn a living and provide their children's needs.

Evangeline is asking for a loan to improve her store. She will use this loan to buy assorted goods such as drinks, food seasoning, noodles, canned goods, chips, biscuits, bread, candies, toiletries, sugar, coffee, and cereals. She will also use part of her requested loan to buy feed. She may start a business raising hogs.

Evangeline aims to improve her family's livelihood in the future and wants her children to finish their studies.
