Saro's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy two pigs of a new, meaty sort and also a lot of fodder for all his pigs.

Saro's story

Saro is 61 years old and he lives in the frontier village of Khashtarak in the Tavush region. Saro lives with his wife and son, and the whole family is busy with farming.

Saro has pigs, piglets and chickens on his farm. Since he is specialised in swine breeding from his farm, he sells pork very profitably.

He also has a large plot of land on which he cultivates beans, greens, potato, tomato, cucumber and onion. Saro sells these vegetables and his orchard’s harvest to resellers.

Saro asks for this Kiva loan because he wants to develop his swine breeding more, and he is going to buy two pigs of a new, meaty sort and also a lot of fodder for all his pigs.
