Cecelia's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase more drinks, milk, rice, oil and other food items to sell.

Cecelia's story

Meet Cecelia, she is 35 years old. She is living together with her partner and her 5 children. The ages of her children are one through 13 years. Cecelia has three children presently in school and all do live at home.

She runs a business in the general market where she sells drinks, milk, rice, oil and other food items. She started this business with her own capital and learned how to sell by herself. She has operated this business for 6 years now and considers herself as very hard working business woman.

Since Cecelia started selling, she has had no problems with her business. She starts to sell from 7:00 am until 9:30 pm at her business site. Cecelia transports her goods to her business site by car on weekends.

To have more goods, Cecelia has applied for a loan through BRAC Liberia. The loan will be used to purchase more drinks, milk, rice, oil and other food items to sell. Cecelia says she likes her business because it gives her more profit and she feels proud of it also because it helps her to take care of her family.

In the future she wants to open a store. She wishes to says thanks to lenders around the world.
