Evangeline's story

49-year old Evangeline is a cheerful, active woman from Barili town. She is married and the mother of four children, aged from 12-21 years.

She runs and operates a sari-sari (variety) store, selling basic commodities ranging from cooking oil, canned goods, coffee, powdered milk and seasonings, to soft drinks and tuba (coconut) wine. Her husband earns a living providing taxi transportation services to meet the family's daily expenses.

To boost the inventory in her shop, she decided to join CEVI, and her loan was used to invest in additional stock like canned goods, noodles, biscuits, and candies. These are very essential and could help meet the daily demands of her customers and also improve her earnings as well.
