Guadalupe Del Carmen's story

Guadalupe is a single mother. She has the responsibility of successfully raising her child. They live in a family home with her mother and other relatives. Guadalupe, along with her mother, have fought for 11 years to provide for the family's basic needs, even thought also on occasion they received help from their relatives. Guadalupe works selling fruits and vegetables. In addition she sells staple household groceries. Her mother taught her this work 11 years ago, but it was 4 years ago one of her aunts gave her a stand located in the municipal market, and there she began selling fruits and vegetables.

She seeks a loan to strengthen her business, and will use it to buy oranges, carrots, potatoes, apples, chilies, and other kinds of fruits and vegetables in order to have a more competitive business and in this way be able to meet her customers' immediate demands. Also it will be helpful to stock inventory for her business as she increasingly finds it necessary to restock as the product has a limited period of freshness. Guadalupe hopes that her sales increase in order to generate more income which she will use to offer her family a dignified quality of life.

She dreams of growing her business, incorporating new products, and remodeling her home.
