Hmaw Bi – 2 (D) Village Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to pay for rental fees for a small tractor as labor costs are increasing.

Hmaw Bi – 2 (D) Village Group's story

Hmaw Bi – 2 (D) Village Group is formed with six village customers from Pyapon, and is located in the Delta area of Myanmar. Yi, Myint, Myint S, Kyaw, Than and Nandar are pictured above.

The one third from the right in the picture is Myint, the group leader. Myint is 54 years old and he is blessed with four children. Since a young age, Myint has farmed together with his parents and helped out with the farm work. Growing up he would play on the farm too. Currently, he manages the nine-acre farm that has been handed down from his parents. Myint is applying for a loan to pay for plowing charges. Myint said that he will rent a tractor to finish plowing with the help of this loan. Labor prices have been increasing so it makes sense to rent tractors to help with all the farm work.
