María De La Paz's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped Maria to buy corn, pork rind, white cheese, oil, beans, and also to buy an industrial stove for her business selling "pupusas" (stuffed tortillas).

María De La Paz's story

Maria is 57 years old. She studied up to 6th grade at school. She is married and her husband works as a daily laborer. They have 4 children, but only a daughter lives at home. Also, Maria has two grandchildren under her care.
She has been working for 3 years selling "pupusas" (stuffed tortillas). She learned how to make them, because they used to make them at church to raise funds.
She has her business in her house, and this is how she has income to help with her grandchildren's education.
Maria is requesting a loan to buy corn, pork rind, white cheese, oil, beans, and also to buy an industrial stove for her sale of "pupusas".
She dreams of opening a restaurant and that her grandchildren graduate with a profession.
