Mame's Group's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy 60 sacks of peanuts and some firewood so as to make peanut butter.

Mame's Group's story

This group of six members was established in January 2003. It is made up of very supportive women. Their main activity is small-scale retailing.

Madame Mame (standing on the far right with her hand raised) is the representative of the group. She is married and the mother of two children. She works at making peanuts into peanut butter.

With this loan, she intends to buy 60 sacks of 50 kg of peanuts and some firewood to use to process the peanuts. Afterwards, she retails the peanut butter in her neighborhood and at the weekly markets. The profits will permit her to participate in covering her children's expenses.
