Sinignesiki Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy fish to resell, in order to meet her own needs as well as those of her daughter.

Sinignesiki Group's story

Mariam is an illiterate, 54-year-old widow and homemaker. She lives in a village in Mali and has a 16-year-old daughter who does not attend school. She sells fish, clothes, and many other goods.

In the photo, Mariam is the woman raising her hand. She has been selling fish for more than 25 years. This activity allows her to meet her needs as well as those of her daughter. She has turned to the RMCR to increase her sales. Her dream is to increase her sales and give a bright future to her daughter, so for this reason she wants to buy more fish to resell.

Mariam buys her goods in nearby villages and sells at local markets in her village. She makes a provisional monthly income of 45,000 francs.
