Elsa Diner's story

A 40-year-old, very hardworking woman who is dedicated to her work, Elsa lives with her two children in the small village of Paso Hondo in Goascorán, Valle, Honduras. Her business is a small grocery store that she has been running for many years. Among the main products she offers are basic, well-needed grains, beverages, sugar, coffee, butter, cleaning products, etc. She sells clothing for women and men too. Elsa’s customers come to her house every day and prefer her because of the quality of her assistance and accessible prices.

Elsa also works making crafts, but now she only does it by request because it takes time. Since she is involved in additional activities, she only does them when requested.

She is asking for a loan to purchase products that will go towards restocking her grocery store, such as beverages, sugar, coffee, butter and cleaning products, among other items, as well as construction materials like cement, gravel and sand to improve her home and thus satisfy the needs of her customers and make her quality of life better.

Elsa’s dream is to better equip her store and improve her home.
