Danaya Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase rams to sell in order to cover the children's expenses.

Danaya Group's story

Korotoumou is the one holding the ram in the picture. She is 45 years old, lives in Mali with her husband who is a fisherman and is the mother of 4 children, two of whom are girls aged 3 to 12 years. Two of her children are in school. Illiterate, she makes her living by raising sheep. She purchases rams and fattens them for resale with an overall profit of 25,000 CFA francs [XOF].

Korotoumou is seeking her third loan with RMCR. She wants to buy sheep and bags of oilcake [a common additive to animal feed] for her business in order to make a profit of 45,000 XOF after sales. This will help her cover the expenses for her children (school fees, new clothing and shoes). For her purchases and sales, she goes to the local market and to the one in the Burkina township. In the future, she wants to buy cattle for her children.
