A loan helped to buy two cows and to build a stable for animals.

Ina's story

Ina is 47-year-old farmer from Busila village, Ungheni region, Moldova. She is married and has one daughter, one son and three grandchildren. Ina’s husband is a farmer, too. He helps to manage the farm.

Ina started her farming activity 25 years ago with 20 cattle. In this period, she worked in Russia for eight years together with her husband. But it’s difficult to be far from the children, that’s why Ina decided to stay at home and to deal with what she likes. Today she raises six cows and four cattle. She sells milk every day and occasionally she makes milk products, such as cheese and cream, and sells them to villagers or uses them for family consumption. It is the only source of income for Ina and her family.

She wants to buy two cows and to build a stable for her animals at the edge of the village so as not to disturb the neighbors. For this reason, she requests a loan from Kiva that will help her to continue her favorite occupation and to make her family happy with natural milk products.
