Fe Y Esperanza Group's story

This committee is currently in its 10th cycle with 17 members.

The members work in various activities including those who excel at the sale of consumables and drinks, a pantry, a hair salon, as well clothing sales and others. The funds will be used to purchase materials such as fabrics, clothing, thread, meat, oil, vegetables and other things. The committee has good internal relations and respect amongst members.

Amongst their immediate goals, what stands out is the need to form their children academically so they can choose a good career. For this reason, they are doubling their efforts to give them the necessary materials to reach their goals.

The committee “Fe y Esperanza” (Faith and Hope) have been working with Fundación Paraguaya for more than two years so that the majority of their members are now operating in a productive occupation. Thus, the women that sell fast food will use the funds for the purchase of ingredients such as oil, vegetables, meat, rice, and flour while those that sell fruit salads will buy fruits, sodas, sugar, plastic cups and spoons. Other merchants will purchase clothes and seasonal wear like hats, gloves, socks, jeans, shirts, for sale in season and seasonal fruits like banana, orange, pomelo, mandarin, pineapple, etc…
