Be Gyi (2-B) village group is composed of five loan customers: War, Nyo, Khin, Swe and Khin W. Be Gyi village is a beautiful village filled with green fields and fresh air. It is located in Pakokku, in the Dry Zone of Myanmar.

First from the left is War, the featured borrower of the group. She is blessed with three children. Her family mainly relies on farming for income. In order to better support the family, War’s spouse migrated to Mandalay. He is a good carpenter and he moved to Mandalay with the hope of having more job opportunities. Since War's husband is away looking for jobs, War is applying for this loan in order to pay for plowing expenses, seeds and other farming expenses. Some portion of the loan is for the basic needs of the family.
