Sokan Group's story

Sokan, 42, is married and living with her two school-aged children in a village in Kampong Cham province, Cambodia. She is a rice farmer and has been operating her farm to makes profits for daily expenses since 2002. Her husband is an immigration worker, to add more income for improving the family's living conditions, and especially their children’s studies.

She appears the first of the side in the photo, and would like asking for a loan with the group of two members. She is going to use her share of the loan to purchase rice seeds for farming this season.

She sees this loan will help her to boost her crop yields and increase her family profits.

In the future, she is going to enlarge her farm, to renovate her house, and help her children get a higher education.
