Catty Fiorela's story

Catty is a young woman, 20 years old, and the younger of 2 siblings. She lives with her parents in the city of Lima. She tells us that her dad is a public transportation driver and her mom works at the household tasks.

Currently she is studying the profession of sewing clothing. She decided on this program since she has a lot of skill and creativity in design. She developed this skill and passion since she was very young as she had few dolls, she "made clothes" with scraps of fabric she found. She has 2 years left to finish her program, so she puts a lot of determination into her studies because "you should do something you are passionate about with pleasure," she tells us.

When she finishes her program, she plans to work in the shops of well-known businesses and to gain as much experience as possible. Sadly, at this time, her family's economic situation is not the best. In light of this, she asks for Kiva's support through an educational loan, which will allow her to have the peace of mind to satisfactorily finish her studies. Her great dream is to have her own workshop which will allow her to generate the necessary economic resources and, at the same time, permit her to support other young people like her, who have a great passion for design.

Catty takes her leave with the following message "Thanks to all the people who are betting on me, I am very happy and at peace with your support, I will not falter and will put all my efforts into finishing with satisfaction.
