Kebbeh's story

Meet 29 year old Kebbeh. She lives together with her partner along with one child who is 10 years old. The child of Kebbeh lives at home while attending school. Kebbeh went to school and the last grade attended was 10th.

In order to help her partner take care of the child, she runs a business which sells beverages. She started this business with her own money and learned this trade from her aunty. This is a business she has operated for 4 years and she considers herself as a hardworking business woman. She uses a car to transport supplies to her business site. She has had no problems with her business.

Kebbeh's day lasts from 7:00 am until 10:00 pm, 6 days a week. To increase in business, Kebbeh applied for a loan through BRAC Liberia and Kiva Field Partners. This loan will help her to purchase more beverages to sell to her customers. She likes her business because it makes her an independent woman. In the future she wants to expand in business. She wishes to say thanks.
