Mercy's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped Mercy to buy farm inputs and hire laborers so that she can grow more crops on her horticulture farm.

Mercy's story

Mercy, age 41, was born and raised in a very remote area in the Nkubu area of Kenya. Her parents could not afford her education and because of that, she had to drop out of school at a young age. After staying idle at home for a few years, she started farming on a small plot she acquired. On the farm, she has dairy cows and a small garden.

Mercy is seeking a 50,000 KES loan, which she will use to pay for farm inputs and to hire labor to grow more crops on the farm. It takes a lot for a smallholder farmer to risk limited resources to expand a farm business.

With your help, Mercy will be able to pay the high cost of farm inputs necessary for expansion. A significant portion of the profits will be plowed back into the business to fuel growth as she sets a good foundation for her children.

She really hopes for your help and contribution.

Mercy is thankful in advance.
