Perveen's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to increase variety at her son's garments business.

Perveen's story

Perveen is a 41-year-old married woman living in the area of Rawalpindi, Pakistan. She is the mother of seven children. Her husband is a mechanic and provides mechanical services in his community.

Her elder son owns a small business of selling ladies' and gents' ready-made garments at a shop. He purchases garment collections from different companies at a low price, ready-made, and sells them at a higher price in his shop.

The ladies of town like his garment collection and selection a lot. The demand for clothes has increased because of the Eid holiday, and people are demanding attractive designs and colors.

Her husband affords all the expenses from his earnings, and her son contributes his earnings only for savings.

She requested a loan so that her son can buy more variety of garments to fulfill the demand.

Perveen wishes for the bright future of her children, and her dream is to provide better facilities to her children.

She is very thankful to Kiva and its field partner BRAC Pakistan.
