Nimi Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to pay for sacks of peanuts to resell in order to support her children as school starts.

Nimi Group's story

A Malian woman, SABOUYOU is the one holding the container. She is 36 and does commerce in peanuts. Living in a small village in Mali, she is the married mother of four children, aged 6 to 15. Her husband is a farmer in the same village.

SABOUYOU started her peanuts business six years ago. Her dream is to see her children succeed in school. This is why she has turned to RMCR to take out a loan to purchase large amounts of peanuts to sell, so as to earn more profit. This will enable her to support her children in school.

Her merchandise comes from nearby villages and is sold at local markets in the area. The profits from selling peanuts enable her to cover certain family expenses (cost of medical care and clothing of the children). The difficulties she encounters are generally related to selling peanuts on credit
