Mary's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to pay for canned food, noodles, rice, sugar and biscuits for her general store.

Mary's story

Mary is a 51-year-old woman who is married with eight children and lives in a community in Honiara, the capital of Solomon Island.

She runs a small general store business selling food items such as rice, sugar, noodles and canned food in her community to earn a living. She has five years of experience with this business.

Mary has requested a loan to pay for additional food items like canned food, noodles, rice, sugar and biscuits for her to maintain her business.

She plans to use her profit to provide for her family financially, cover her family's weekly expenses and pay for her children's school fees.

She has been a member of SPBD since 2015.
