Faisi's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to rent cocoa gardens.

Faisi's story

Faisi is aged 71 years, and married. She has six children and takes care of her four grand children; they all live in Bundibugyo Uganda. She is predominantly a cocoa trader and farmer and sells to agents and cocoa companies.

Faisi has been involved in cocoa growing for nearly 30 years now to raise income for the family and school fees for the children. Her main challenge is limited man power, needed to do harvesting and sun drying of cocoa seeds.

Faisi is very committed to cocoa growing as the basic source of family income and upkeep. She has asked for a loan to enable her to pay for labor and renting cocoa gardens for harvest and resale.
