Mary Queen Of Peace Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to hire labor to harvest, dry and transport her cocoa beans to the market centers for sale.

Mary Queen Of Peace Group's story

Gladys, the woman in the picture, is a trader who sells ladies and gents wear, bags, cooking utensils and kente cloths. She has been doing this business for the past 23 years and has one employee.

Gladys is also a farmer with a 4.5 acre, cocoa plantation. She has been with the Field Partner for over 6 years now. This is another cocoa season and she needs micro finance support to hire labor to harvest, dry and transport the cocoa beans to the sale center.

Gladys will use part of the profit from the sale of the cocoa to finance her children's education by taking them to school with good learning facilities. She will plow the remaining profit back into her clothing business.

Gladys and her group members are grateful to all their Kiva lenders for their generous support.
