Rose's story

This is Rose, a woman who is full of smiles. She is a person who has had to overcome a lot of adversity in her life. However, she has always had the strength to overcome it and move forward with her children. Rose is very hardworking and a go-getter. She hails from a remote village in the Kerugoya area of Kenya. This area has tough living conditions and to survive, you must have tough skin. But Rose has defied all the odds and has been engaged in farming for the past six years. Her primary sources of income are poultry, vegetables, crops, and animal farming. She also gets some income through a personal business. Rose is content with the farming way of life. She is a very enterprising woman, and although she never had formal education or formal employment, she has always worked hard on her farm and has always been able to provide her children and family with a decent meal. The Kerugoya area has favorable conditions for horticulture farming, and that is why Rose is seeking a loan to buy seeds and start horticulture farming. Because of the good roads, a good climate, and a good transportation network, she is sure that she will reap maximum profits and be able to increase her business. Rose is very thankful in advance for your help and contribution. She is looking forward to your warm response.
