Misael Antonio's story

Misael is 51 years old. He is married. He lives with his wife and three children in a village in the municipality of Nueva Frontera, Santa Barbara.

Misael has had his own coffee farm for 21 years. He sells to to middlemen in the area coffee that is wet, dry, pulp removed, or mature beans from which he obtains his main source of income for his family.

He is asking for a second loan from ODEF in the amount of 10,000 HNL (lempiras) to invest in the cultivation of more coffee plants and to buy fertilizer for the maintenance of his current farm.

This will help him improve his crop for the next season. His goal is to continue growing coffee and to give his family a better quality of life.
