Benkadi Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to pay for peanuts seeds to grow with the aim of selling more and buying enough oxen.

Benkadi Group's story

Dougoukolo is the woman siting in the middle and holding a bowl of peanuts. A homemaker, she is 51, married to a farmer, and the mother of nine children (three girls and six boys), aged 2 to 25, of whom one boy is attending school.

Dougoukolo has been growing crops for 35 years and did not have the luck to go to school. But she turns to the microfinance institution to have more funds to pay for a large amount of peanuts seeds, fertilizer, and herbicides to carry out her farming with the aim of abundant harvests. She could then take good care of her family. Her supplies come from nearby markets.

Her dream is to have enough profit from her crops to purchase enough oxen for her fields. The obstacles she encounters include limited rainfall. At harvest time, she can make a profit of 50,000 francs.
