A loan helped to buy supplies for her food vending business and assorted products to sell at her retail stall.

Eva's story

Eva is a hardworking woman who has five children, three of whom are still in school. To manage her household finances, she sells street food, such as tempura and fish balls. She also has a retail stall at a nearby market where she sells basic commodities to earn additional income.

There is high demand for what she sells, but Eva has limited funds to boost her business activities. To resolve this problem, Eva joined CEVI and applied for a loan in order to buy supplies for her food vending business, such as tempura mix, fish balls, and sauce. She will also buy assorted products for her retail store. This will augment her earnings so that she can continue supporting family and be able to start saving for future needs.
