Thee Pin Kone – 1 (D) Village Group's story

Thee Pin Kone – 1 (D) Village Group is composed of five villagers: Myint, Toe, War, Aung, and Thwe, all of whom are small-holder farmers.

Myint, in the middle of the picture, is 50 years old. He lives with his three family members in a village near Myingyan town. He grows maize, sesame, groundnuts, and the like. Currently, the only help he receives doing farm work is from his beloved wife and daughter.

With this loan, Myint will be able to pay for quality seeds, fertilizers, and farm labor. While Myint spends most of his life on the farm, he uses any free time he has reading a book or journal or newspaper.
