Luna Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to invest in her business by buying products such as meat, bags, straws and chicken.

Luna Group's story

The Luna group is made up of four responsible, hard-working women, and coordinated by Yessenia, 31, who is partnered and the mother of two children of ages nine and six years.

Yessenia earns a living making and selling fried foods, and has done this work for fifteen years. This is the second loan requested from Kiva. She is applying for the money to invest in her business by buying products such as meat, bags, straws and chicken.

The other members are Janneth, 49, who sells pinolillo [sweet cornmeal and cacao drink], Lesbia, 55, who sells drinks and nacatamales, and Silvia, 32, who sells sandwiches and soft drinks.
