Salina's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy new tools and replace those that are worn out.

Salina's story

Salina is a small holder farmer who is very passionate about farming. Salina has been engaged in crops, dairy and poultry farming for not less than ten years. Her primary sources of income are maize, milk and eggs. She lives in Kapcherop area in Kenya.

She developed the urge for farming from her parents who were formerly maize farmers. She has done remarkable work through farming, such as taking her children to a local private school. Salina values farming as her core economic activity.

Salina has been using the same farm tools and equipment repeatedly for her ten years of farming. Some of her tools are worn out and she needs a loan so that she can buy new tools and replace those that are worn out.

Salina is confident that her work will be made easier and her output will consequently increase. She is therefore appealing for a loan from Juhudi Kilimo, which has partnered with Kiva lenders, to lend her some money so that she can increase her profits and pay back her loan. She is thankful to all her lenders.
