Above The Limit Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to restock an additional 300 chickens and feed in order to meet the demands of her clients.

Above The Limit Group's story

Rosemary, a 58 year old mother of three, is very hardworking and keen to put food on the table against all the odds. The group has been recently given their second loan from Thrive.

Rosemary's business has improved due to the knowledge she acquired from the financial training she received. On the last loan cycle she used to keep her chickens in batches of 200 but has since increased to batches of 300 birds. Her client base has increased as she now supplies local supermarkets.

With the profits obtained from her previous loan, she managed to open a mini supermarket in her local area. Rosemary, together with her husband who works in South Africa, are keen to create a brighter future for their children. She used her loan to purchase 300 broilers, chicken feed and medicine. Rosemary is very positive about the future of her businesses despite the economic challenges facing the nation.
