A loan helped to purchase a solar-powered freezer system that will improve her grocery store's income.

Leonarda's story

Leonarda, 54 years old, is a persistent woman who lives in Intibuca, Honduras. Since she was very young, she has dedicated herself to working to provide for her two daughters, who are now her greatest support.

She makes a living from cultivating potatoes and beans and also has a business selling basic home products. She aspires to boost her business since she likes it a lot owing to that she can connect with many people.

However, owing to that in her community there is no electrical service, Leonarda has found herself limited by not being able to offer her customers products that require freezing, such as meats, lunch meats, and soft drinks.

For this reason, Leonarda has decided to request financing from Soluz Honduras to purchase a solar-powered freezer, which will allow her to have a greater variety of products to provide better attention to her customers and at the same time increase her income.
