Grap En Wok Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to pay for additional gallons of palm oil and bags of pepper to sell.

Grap En Wok Group's story

Salamatu is a forty-two year-old married woman and a mother of two children, ages seventeen and fourteen. She is a group leader and is often described as a very hardworking individual. She is representing her group of four members in Grap En Wok Group. Salamatu is pictured second right with the stick.

Salamatu and her group members are requesting a loan for a total of SLL 4,500,000 of which she is entitled to SLL 1,250,000. She will use it to pay for additional gallons of palm oil and bags of pepper to sell.

Salamatu believes she can have a better life for her family by continuing to work with ARD. With the profits from this loan she plans to continue making her savings to meet her personal needs and family welfare. She thanks Kiva for funding them.
