A loan helped to buy piglets for raising and selling.

Thanh An 31 Group's story

The woman who is standing first from the right in the picture is Bich. She is 39 and married. There are six people in her family. They live in a Thai traditional stilt house. They have a son, and he is now working as a construction worker.

Bich dropped out of school when she was in secondary school. Her income from planting crops such as rice and corn and raising fish, chicken, buffaloes, and pigs is not sufficient. She has obtained four loans from the Anh Chi Em program and repaid them successfully.

Right now she lacks the money to buy piglets for raising and selling. She wants to increase the number of pigs that she owns so this time she has taken a loan to buy piglets. She hopes that her pigs will grow up healthily and fast.
