Vicuñitas Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase wholesale rice, noodles, and oil.

Vicuñitas Group's story

The communal bank Vicuñitas will begin its first cycle in Pro Mujer as part of the Copacabana community center. It is made up of eight members and is managed by a board of directors of which Lidia is the president.

The loan that they will receive will benefit small businesswomen, and Lidia is one of them. She currently has a business selling meals. She says that she learned this business on her own initiative several years ago.

The loan that she will now receive will be an increase of capital for the purchase of wholesale rice, noodles, and oil that she will acquire from the wholesalers in the city of La Paz. She will then make sales at her sales location. This type of work will allow her to generate resources to support her family financially since she is single and has five children.
