Togetherness Ii Group's story
This group consists of five business women, all local entrepreneurs, who have come to SMT/Kiva lenders to request a loan of 1,000,000.00 Sierra Leanean Leones (SLL) for each member of the group. This loan will help improve their individual businesses to make more sales, which will consequently increase their profit margin. The featured leader of this group is Mariatu. She was born 35 years ago, and is married with children. Her two children are attending primary and secondary schools respectively. Mariatu sells assorted shop items such as sugar, tin milk and sachet coffee, Nescafe, and more. She has been doing this for 3 years now. With her share of this loan, Mariatu will pay for tin milk and coffee in large quantity.
