Nelia's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped Nélia to buy a variety of products to re-sell.

Nelia's story

Nélia is 40 years old and a retailer. She is the single mother of three children ages 20 (in the 11th grade), 18 (also in the 11th grade) and 15 (in the 9th grade). She also lives with a 13-year-old niece who is in the 8th grade. She lives in a house she owns and does not play a role in the community.
She says that she intends this loan to strengthen the volume of merchandise in her store, acquiring bran, flip flops, peanuts, oil, flour, beans, sugar, and rice.
This is her fourth loan at Hluvuku; with the previous loans she built a stall, since she used to sell on a bench outdoors, and she increased the volume of her merchandise.
Her dream is to improve her living conditions and to move forward in her business.
