Djamakanou Group's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy sheep for resale so that she may soon start cattle farming.

Djamakanou Group's story

AWA is the lady with a hand on the sheep in the group photo. She is a 37-year-old Malian sheep farmer, and she is married with 4 children aged 5 to 13.

Awa never had the chance to go to school. She is doing quite well raising sheep. She turned to RMCR in order to avoid bad credit and to grow her business. She buys sheep at local weekly fairs, takes care of them, fattens them, and then resells them at the same fairs.

She started doing this 13 years ago, and she has been a partner of RMCR for 2 years. Thanks to these loans, her activity is successful. She doesn't have any problems.

Her short-term goal is to start raising cattle. She hopes to have the means to run her activity properly and maximize her profits while supporting her children.
