A loan helped to Purchase educational technology tablets from iSchool in order to provide quality education.
Annie, who holds a Diploma in Secondary School teaching worked for Johnson and Johnson. After retirement Annie decided to give back to the community of Mushili Kansengu in the district of Ndola in Copperbelt Province. Annie used her retirement package to open Annastasia School in 2008. The school started with only one pre-school classroom with five children. With her determination and passion for education, Annie has worked hard and grown the school to over 480 pupils from pre-school to grade 7. Annie is providing education opportunities to children within her community, as well as children who walk long distances to attend Annastasia School as there are few schools within the community. Annie desires to continue providing lifelong quality education to the community. In this regard, Annie requests a loan to purchase ICT educational resources to assist in her contribution to providing quality education that she strives to deliver to the children at the school, using modern education technology in the form of the ZEduPad. The ZEduPad is an educational technology tablet designed for primary school children that has pre-loaded content mapped to the Zambian Primary School curriculum. This educational tablet is now being used in schools throughout Zambia and many parts of Africa.
