Rahat's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase dairy cows in order to increase her volume of milk sales to a factory.

Rahat's story

Rahat is 37 years old, married, and is the mother of 2 school- and preschool-aged children. She has a secondary-level education, and since 1997 she has been doing agricultural work.

Thanks to Rahat's very hard work, today she has a well developed farm. She has 1.85 hectares of land where she grows beans for resale. She also has 2 dairy cows, 15 sheep, and a horse.

Rahat has signed a contract to provide organic milk to a local factory to be further processed into dairy products. This allows Rahat to continually invest in her agricultural business.

Knowing that at Bai Tushum Bank CJSC, she can take out a loan against the contract for future deliveries, as part of "value chain" products, Rahat has applied for a loan of 100,000 som (KGS) to buy purebred dairy cows to increase her volume of organic milk for sale.

The payments for the milk from the factory will be automatically transfered to Rahat's bank account, and the payments for the loan will be deducted automatically.

Rahat plans to invest the profit from the loan in the further expansion of her business.
