Eugenia's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy beverages, cooking oil, sugar, and toiletries to sell.

Eugenia's story

A year ago, Eugenia opened a sari-sari (variety) store where she sells various commodities such as noodles, canned goods, soft drinks, sugar, eggs, soap, and beverages. She is 48 years old and has eight children, three of whom are still attending school.

To improve her current business, she approached Kiva to request a loan in order to buy assorted products such as beverages, cooking oil, sugar, and toiletries. As a result, her earning will start to improve and she will be able to provide her family with a nutritious diet and continue sending her children to school. Eugenia will also be able to begin saving and do some expansions.
